Fuel Emergency

United Airlines Flight UA1023, a Boeing 757-200 flying from Boston to San Francisco, declared a fuel emergency after abandoning its first landing attempt. The aircraft reported 5,200 lbs of fuel remaining before landing safely on Runway 28R approximately 14 minutes later.
