Fuselage door warnings lit up on two separate Spicejet planes while taking off on Friday and Saturday, forcing the aircraft to abandon their journeys and return, informed officials of Indian aviation regulator DGCA, which ordered a probe into the incidents.
All cabin crew are trained in advanced first aid and aviation medicine and must complete yearly exams to show proficiency. Prior to flights, the cabin crew follows a briefing in which they must respond to questions not only on safety and emergency procedures but also on medical emergencies, to show that their knowledge is up-to-date and ready for any future eventuality.
