A ground vehicle caught fire near a British Airways (BA) Airbus A320 parked at Heathrow Terminal 5, sending flames and a massive black smoke cloud rising from a set of mobile stairs attached to an A320, engulfing its tail.

On Friday (December 22, 2023), a British Airways (BA) flight to London had to return to New Delhi shortly after takeoff due to an indication of fire, according to airport officials.
