Boeing 777X Flights

United Airlines (UA) has decided against purchasing Boeing’s upcoming 777X, the world’s largest twin-engine plane in production.

Boeing halted flight tests of its 777X aircraft on August 28, 2023, after discovering damage to a critical component.

Boeing has initiated the formal trial flights with the US Aviation Authority, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to obtain the type certification for its 777X (777-9) aircraft

The purpose of the visit to Ahmedabad Airport is to evaluate the airport’s suitability for their upcoming aircraft, the Boeing 777X.
