American Airlines First Quarter Loss

American Airlines posted a $111 million profit in 2025, down 87 percent year over year, as higher costs and weaker unit revenue widened the gap with Delta and United.

In its first-quarter 2024 financial report, American Airlines (AA) disclosed record-breaking revenue of $12.6 billion alongside a net loss of $312 million.
