The police arrested an off-duty Air India Express (IX) pilot for allegedly assaulting a SpiceJet (SG) passenger at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi (DEL), and later released him on bail, officials confirmed.

The extensive sick leave taken collectively led to disruptions in over 95 Air India Express flights from Tuesday evening through Wednesday, affecting upwards of 10,000 passengers.
Reportedly, the Ministry of Labour Union has issued a show-cause notice to Air India Express (IX), currently under the ownership of the Tata Group.
Tata-owned Air India Express (AIX) senior and experienced Cabin crew have expressed serious reservations about the management’s actions, citing violations of the company’s code of conduct guidelines.
