DUBAI- Emirates (EK) will deploy its Airbus A350 on daily scheduled services to Orlando International Airport (MCO) from 1 November. Orlando will become Emirates’ first US gateway to receive the A350 on scheduled passenger services.
The A350 will replace the Boeing 777 currently operating the Dubai-Orlando route, which Emirates launched in 2015. The new aircraft brings the airline’s latest cabin interiors, technology and innovations, including its award-winning Premium Economy experience.

Emirates A350 Adds Premium Economy to Orlando Route
The Emirates A350 deployment will give customers travelling between Dubai (DXB) and Orlando access to the airline’s latest onboard products across three cabin classes.
The aircraft has 298 seats in total, comprising 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 28 Premium Economy seats, and 238 Economy Class seats.
Emirates says the aircraft will provide customers travelling to and from Central Florida with more cabin choice and updated comfort features.
The Orlando service is also a significant step in Emirates’ Premium Economy rollout in the United States. The airline said the expansion reflects growing demand from American travellers for a more elevated long-haul travel experience.
The Airbus A350 will operate daily between Dubai and Orlando on Emirates flights EK219 and EK220. All published times are local.
| Flight | Route | Departure | Arrival |
|---|---|---|---|
| EK219 | Dubai (DXB) → Orlando (MCO) | 03:05 | 10:20 |
| EK220 | Orlando (MCO) → Dubai (DXB) | 20:20 | 19:10 +1 day |
The A350 will replace the Boeing 777 that has operated the route since Emirates began scheduled services to Orlando in 2015.

Emirates Premium Economy Cabin Features

Each Premium Economy seat is 19.5 inches wide and offers generous legroom and recline. The seats include 6 way adjustable headrests, footrests, in-seat charging points, and a wood-finished side cocktail table.
Passengers also receive a 13.3 inch personal entertainment screen connected to Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment system. The system offers more than 6,500 channels of content across multiple languages.
The cabin is intended to provide a more spacious environment while retaining the onboard entertainment and service options associated with Emirates’ long-haul operations.

Premium Economy Dining and Passenger Amenities
Premium Economy passengers receive a dedicated dining service beginning with a welcome drink served in fine glassware.
Meals are prepared using seasonal ingredients and served on Royal Doulton china. An extended beverage selection complements the meal service.
Passengers also receive sustainable amenity kits, blankets and generously sized pillows designed specifically for the Premium Economy cabin.
Additional Premium Economy benefits include priority boarding and access to a dedicated Premium Economy check-in area at Dubai International Airport.

Premium Economy Connections Beyond Dubai
Emirates Premium Economy is available to customers travelling to Dubai and onward to more than 90 destinations across the airline’s network where the product is offered.
The available network includes destinations in West Asia, the Indian Ocean islands, the Far East and Australasia.
The expansion on the Orlando route provides passengers with another option for travelling in Premium Economy on longer international journeys through Dubai.

Emirates Highlights Latest US Cabin Offering
Matthew Jones, Emirates’ Vice President for the USA, said the Orlando deployment will give customers access to the airline’s latest inflight experience and its Premium Economy product on a growing number of U.S. routes.
He said the A350 will provide customers with the latest inflight features and comfort across Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class.
The Orlando service therefore combines Emirates’ latest A350 cabin design with the airline’s expanding Premium Economy network, while maintaining daily connectivity between Central Florida and Dubai.
