LEEDS— Jet2 (LS) has introduced a new 72-hour feature for passengers with upcoming flights, giving customers access to live flight information through its mobile app during the three days before departure.
The functionality provides updated flight times, status information, and holiday-related details in one place.
The feature, which launched on June 22, is available from 72 hours before a customer’s scheduled departure and is designed to provide more timely information ahead of travel.
Passengers can also use the app to find details about their Jet2 in-resort Customer Helper, including the representative’s name, visiting times and locations.

Jet2 72-Hour Feature
The new functionality gives customers access to live flight times and flight status updates directly through the Jet2 app.
By making this information available from three days before departure, the airline aims to give passengers a clearer picture of their upcoming journey.
The app also provides information about where and when passengers can meet their Customer Helper while on holiday.
Customers can check the representative’s name and scheduled visit details without needing to search for the information elsewhere.
Jet2 said the update forms part of its continued investment in its customer experience and digital services.
The airline has increasingly used its mobile application to provide passengers with real-time information before and during their holidays.

Live Transfer Tracking
The 72-hour update follows Jet2’s introduction of its Live Transfer Status functionality, which allows eligible customers to monitor their coach transfer to the departure airport in real time.
The service was initially available to customers returning home from holidays in destinations including the Balearics, Canary Islands, mainland Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Bulgaria.
Jet2 has also been expanding the functionality to Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Faro and Madeira.
The airline has described digital innovation as an important part of improving the customer journey. Its mobile app is being used to bring together flight information and other travel details that passengers may need while preparing to return home.

Jet2 Price Guarantee
The airline has also introduced a separate price policy for booked flights and holidays.
Jet2 said it would not add surcharges to existing bookings to cover increases in costs such as jet fuel, following speculation that some airlines and travel companies could seek additional payments from customers after bookings had been made.
The policy applies to Jet2 flights and holidays booked through the airline’s website, mobile app, contact centre or independent travel agents.
The company said customers can therefore retain the price agreed when making their booking.
Jet2 added that the pledge does not cover tourist taxes. Those charges are paid directly to accommodation providers in resort and remain separate from the price of the flight or holiday package.
