HYDERABAD- Saudi low-cost carrier flyadeal (F3) has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of daily flights connecting Hyderabad (HYD) and the Saudi capital, Riyadh (RUH). The airline, part of the Saudia Group, marked the milestone as GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. (GHIAL) welcomed its inaugural service.
The maiden flight touched down at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad (HYD) on 4 July 2026, operated on the Riyadh (RUH)–Hyderabad (HYD)–Riyadh (RUH) route. The debut strengthens air links between India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while reinforcing Hyderabad Airport’s position as a growing international gateway.

flyadeal Begins Riyadh–Hyderabad Flights
flyadeal’s entry into India represents a key step in the carrier’s international expansion strategy. The inaugural flight was received by senior officials from both organisations, including Mr. Kadhir Kadhiravan, CEO, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd., and Mr. Loyd Misquitta, Acting Chief Commercial Officer, flyadeal.
The airline operates the route with its Airbus A320neo aircraft, configured with 186 seats in an all-Economy Class layout. The cabin features USB-A and USB-C charging ports at every seat, along with Airbus’ ‘Airspace’ cabin interior and extra-large overhead storage bins.
flyadeal serves the Riyadh–Hyderabad–Riyadh route on a daily basis, operating seven weekly frequencies with well-timed departures designed for passenger convenience.
Travellers departing from Hyderabad gain seamless onward access across flyadeal’s domestic network within Saudi Arabia, opening connectivity to multiple cities across the Kingdom.

Loyd Misquitta, Acting Chief Commercial Officer, flyadeal, described the launch as a significant milestone, noting that the carrier has commenced operations in one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-growing aviation markets.
He stated that the direct daily Riyadh–Hyderabad connection reflects rising demand for travel between the two countries and supports the airline’s commitment to expanding its international network while offering passengers greater choice, convenience, and value.
Kadhir Kadhiravan, CEO, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd., welcomed flyadeal’s debut in the Indian market. He said the new Riyadh connection enhances the airport’s Middle East network and reflects Hyderabad’s growing importance as a global aviation hub.
He added that the service strengthens links for the large Indian diaspora and business community while creating fresh opportunities for tourism and trade between the two regions.
