RIYADH- Riyadh Air (RX) has opened flight bookings for Kuala Lumpur (KUL) in Malaysia, Dhaka (DAC) in Bangladesh, and Malaga (AGP) in Spain, further expanding its international network across Asia and Europe.
The airline added the 3 destinations to its website homepage on June 29, 2026, allowing passengers to reserve seats for services launching between July and August 2026.
According to AeroTime, the additions connect Riyadh (RUH) to fresh markets as the startup carrier works toward its goal of linking the Saudi capital with more than 100 destinations worldwide by 2030. The 3 routes take Riyadh Air’s on-sale network to 8 destinations.

Riyadh Air Adds 3 New International Destinations
Riyadh Air introduced bookings for Kuala Lumpur, Dhaka, and Malaga on June 29, 2026, giving passengers access to 3 additional international destinations.
Flights to Malaga will begin on July 14, 2026. The seasonal service will operate 3 times per week before concluding on September 8, 2026, at the end of the European summer season.
Services to Kuala Lumpur will commence on July 30, 2026. The airline will operate the route three times weekly throughout the year. Kuala Lumpur marks Riyadh Air’s first destination in Southeast Asia, opening a direct link between the Gulf and the ASEAN region.
Flights to Dhaka are scheduled to start on August 7, 2026. Although Riyadh Air has not officially confirmed the operating frequency, its website indicates the route appears set to operate daily.

International Network Continues to Expand
Alongside the 3 newly announced destinations, Riyadh Air is preparing to launch additional European routes.
Flights to Madrid (MAD) are scheduled to begin on July 17, 2026, followed by services to Manchester (MAN) on July 23, 2026.
The airline has already launched scheduled services to London Heathrow (LHR), Dubai (DXB), and Cairo (CAI), along with domestic flights to Jeddah (JED).

Global Connectivity
Riyadh Air Chief Executive Officer Tony Douglas linked the new routes to the airline’s long-term strategy.
“With the addition of Malaga and Kuala Lumpur, we continue to further strengthen our network across key markets for business, tourism, and trade, bringing us closer to our goal of connecting Riyadh to more than 100 destinations worldwide by 2030,” Douglas said.
He added that the growing network enables the airline to offer smooth and convenient onward connections for guests travelling across the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, and beyond.

Fleet Expansion
Riyadh Air has so far received 5 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, with a sixth expected to join the fleet very soon.
The airline launched its first full-service commercial flight on June 10, 2026, operating between Riyadh and London Heathrow.
The inaugural service began 3 weeks earlier than originally planned after aircraft deliveries accelerated, allowing Riyadh Air to advance the launch from the previously scheduled July 1, 2026 start date.
