Who Is Eligible for the Program?
The relocation grant is available to several categories of applicants.
Eligible individuals include:
- Unemployed people seeking new employment.
- Employees relocating to carry out professional activities in approved inland territories.
- Self-employed professionals.
- Workers and self-employed professionals who perform their activities remotely from inland Portugal.
- Portuguese emigrants who left the country after December 31, 2015, and have lived outside Portugal for at least one year.
Applicants must satisfy all eligibility requirements established by the program.

Residency Requirements and Restrictions
The change of residence must be permanent and maintained for a minimum period of 12 months.
