DOHA— Qatar Airways (QR) has officially revealed its FIFA special livery aircraft on a Boeing 777, marking the next phase of its partnership with FIFA as the Official Airline Partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The aircraft will operate from the airline’s hub at Hamad International Airport (DOH) to key destinations across three continents.
The branded jet will serve routes in Europe, the United States, and Asia, helping promote the tournament that the United States, Canada, and Mexico will co-host. The livery builds on Qatar Airways’ association with the previous FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and extends the carrier’s role in promoting global football.

Qatar Airways New FIFA Livery
The Boeing 777 carries a bold exterior design inspired by the energy and global unity of football. Qatar Airways developed the livery to reflect the spirit of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the largest edition of the tournament in history.
The aircraft will travel across the airline’s international network, acting as a flying ambassador for the event in the months leading up to kickoff.
Beyond the exterior, the aircraft features bespoke cabin dressing themed around the FIFA World Cup 2026. The custom interior styling was designed exclusively for this aircraft and brings the tournament atmosphere into the inflight experience.
Qatar Airways confirmed that both the exterior livery and the interior dressing will remain on the jet after the tournament concludes, serving as a long-term tribute to the event.

Strategic Reach Across Three Continents
Qatar Airways selected its Boeing 777 fleet to carry the livery due to its long-haul capability. The aircraft will operate flights into major football markets, allowing fans, teams, and travelers to encounter the World Cup branding well before the matches begin.
This deployment strategy aligns with the airline’s wider network, which connects more than 160 destinations through Doha this summer.
The carrier’s role as Official Airline Partner builds on years of involvement in global sport. The partnership extends beyond branding, supporting team movement, fan travel, and tournament logistics across the host nations of the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
