JEDDAH- Saudia (SV) filed additional changes in a recent schedule update to its already planned Airbus A321XLR operation, adjusting routes, frequencies, and start dates across multiple markets from June 2026.
The carrier will deploy the narrowbody type in a two-class configuration of J24Y120.
The updated plan, valid as of 17 May 2026, covers services from both Jeddah (JED) and Riyadh (RUH) to destinations across Europe, the Maldives, and Russia.
Routes include Jeddah to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Madrid (MAD), and Geneva (GVA), along with Riyadh to Moscow Sheremetyevo (SVO) and Athens (ATH). As reported by Aeroroutes, further changes to the schedule remain highly possible.

Saudia A321XLR Summer 2026 Deployment
Saudia (SV) will phase in A321XLR flights across the Northern summer 2026 season, with several routes scaling up frequency after launch.
The Jeddah to Madrid route opens with an inaugural flight on 03 June 2026, followed by 6 weekly services from 01 August 2026.
Jeddah to Vienna begins on 11 June 2026 with two weekly flights, increasing to four weekly from 28 June 2026, then settling at 3 weekly from 08 September 2026.
The Jeddah to Paris Charles de Gaulle starts on 17 June 2026 with three weekly flights, rising to one daily from 17 September 2026.
Jeddah to Male launches on 01 July 2026 with two weekly services, moving to three weekly from 08 July 2026. Jeddah to Geneva begins one daily from 01 September 2026.
The carrier will also operate various A321XLR flights on the domestic Jeddah to Riyadh sector from 01 July 2026.

Riyadh-Based Seasonal Routes
Saudia plans 3 Riyadh-originating A321XLR services during the summer period. Riyadh to Moscow Sheremetyevo operates five weekly flights between 02 July 2026 and 15 September 2026.
The Riyadh to Athens runs once weekly for a short window from 05 August 2026 to 26 August 2026.
Riyadh to Geneva begins on 02 September 2026 with four weekly flights, of which three of the four weekly are currently available for reservations.

Northern Winter 2026/27 Schedule
The A321XLR service for the Northern winter 2026/27 season, effective 25 October 2026, remains largely unchanged from earlier filings.
Jeddah to Geneva operates four weekly flights from 25 October 2026, and Jeddah to Madrid runs four weekly from the same date.
Jeddah to Paris Charles de Gaulle operates four weekly flights from 26 October 2026, while Jeddah to Male runs two weekly flights from 26 October 2026.
The Jeddah to Barcelona (BCN) begins on 27 October 2026 with three weekly services. Riyadh to Geneva operates 3 weekly from 26 October 2026.
