SINGAPORE- One of the World’s best carriers, Singapore Airlines (SQ), has expanded premium lounge services at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), introducing extended all-day barista coffee and cocktail offerings across its renovated SilverKris Lounges.
The move marks a significant upgrade to the airline’s ground experience, particularly for First and Business Class passengers.
The enhancement follows recent refurbishments at Changi, where newly designed flagship bars have become central features of the SilverKris Lounge concept.
Previously limited by fixed service windows, the bars now operate for most of the day, allowing travelers greater flexibility regardless of departure time.

Silverkris Lounge Upgrades
The redesigned SilverKris Lounges place a strong emphasis on premium food and beverage experiences, with dedicated bar areas serving as focal points.
These bars now provide handcrafted cocktails and freshly prepared coffee throughout most of the day, eliminating earlier time-based restrictions.
Previously, barista coffee was only available in the morning between 6:00 am and 10:00 am, while cocktail service was restricted to evening hours from 5:30 pm to 1:00 am. The revised schedule effectively merges these services, ensuring near-continuous availability.
The airline indicated that extending service hours required careful staffing adjustments, which contributed to the delayed rollout.
However, the final implementation reflects growing demand for flexible lounge offerings among international travelers.

First Class Experience
In Terminal 3, the First Class SilverKris Lounge features the “Crystal Bar,” a premium space designed with decorative Lalique crystal elements and ambient lighting. The bar offers an intimate setting with limited seating, focusing on exclusivity and curated beverage experiences.
Terminal 2 houses the Signature Bar within the First Class lounge, offering a more understated yet refined design. Both bars provide a wide selection of cocktails, wines, and premium spirits, with higher-end labels distinguishing First Class offerings from Business Class selections.
The beverage program has evolved significantly, with a stronger focus on crafted cocktails rather than standard menu items. This shift reflects a broader effort to elevate lounge quality to match global premium standards.

Business Class Offerings
The Business Class SilverKris Lounge in Terminal 3 delivers a more relaxed environment, combining bar service with casual seating and entertainment options.
While the setting is less exclusive than First Class, it maintains a strong emphasis on quality and accessibility.
At Terminal 2, Business Class lounge renovations remain ongoing, with partial reopening already underway. Current configurations prioritize seating capacity, though a full bar installation is expected once construction is completed later in 2026.
Across both cabins, the difference in beverage offerings lies primarily in ingredient quality rather than variety.
Premium champagne and higher-tier spirits remain exclusive to First Class, while Business Class passengers still benefit from an expanded and improved cocktail menu.
