JEWAR- Akasa Air (QP) has partnered with Noida International Airport (DXN) to establish the airline’s first maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility in India. The development marks a strategic step toward strengthening domestic aviation infrastructure and supporting the airline’s long-term operational expansion.
The facility will be located within the premises of Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. As India’s aviation market continues to grow rapidly, the project aims to improve aircraft maintenance capabilities while helping airlines reduce reliance on overseas MRO services.
Akasa Air MRO Hub at Noida Airport
Akasa Air plans to develop the MRO facility to handle a wide range of aircraft maintenance operations. The facility will support line maintenance, inspections, and other technical services necessary to maintain operational safety and efficiency.
By building a domestic maintenance base, the airline aims to streamline aircraft servicing and reduce operational downtime. This strategy will allow the carrier to scale its operations more efficiently as it expands its fleet and network.

Aviation and Akasa’s Growth in India
