SAN JOSE- Embraer has introduced the next-generation Praetor 600E and Praetor 500E, marking the first major evolution of its Praetor family. The updated business jets focus on cabin innovation, connectivity, and passenger comfort while retaining class-leading performance.
The new models combine advanced avionics, redesigned interiors, and enhanced cabin management systems to position the Praetor line at the forefront of midsize and super-midsize private aviation.

Embraer Cabin Innovation in the Praetor Line
The Praetor 600E and Praetor 500E introduce fully redesigned cabins aimed at improving productivity and comfort on longer missions.
The most notable addition is the optional 42-inch 4K OLED Smart Window™ available on the Praetor 600E. This Embraer-exclusive feature integrates video conferencing, high-resolution streaming, and live external camera views through three fuselage-mounted cameras.
When paired with an optional divan configuration, the Smart Window™ transforms the second cabin zone into a functional meeting or entertainment space. This layout allows passengers to conduct business discussions, stream media, or relax during extended flights.
Both aircraft now feature a redesigned Cabin Management System that provides more intuitive control of temperature, lighting, airflow, entertainment, and audio.
Passengers can manage settings through multiple interfaces, including a dedicated mobile app. Optional features include voice command capability, Bluetooth audio, wireless charging, and customizable RGB mood lighting.
Embraer also reengineered the upper valance to integrate new technology panels and an improved ambient air system, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.

Redesigned Seating and Extended Comfort
Seating across both models has been completely reengineered and manufactured in-house by Embraer. The seats now offer configurable cushion firmness, dual lumbar support, forward-tracking headrests, and increased legroom.
Electric-assist seat movement improves ease of adjustment, while a redesigned berthing system allows quicker cabin conversion for rest. A dedicated lounge position further enhances comfort during long-range missions.
The Praetor 600E features a redesigned galley with increased storage, disposal capacity, and ice drawer volume to support extended international flights. The Praetor 500E includes an upgraded refreshment center with additional stowage.
Both jets retain a six-foot-tall, flat-floor cabin, stone flooring, a vacuum service lavatory, and the largest baggage compartment in their respective classes. A full vanity in the rear private lavatory remains standard.

Advanced Flight Technology and Operational Capability
The Praetor 600E and Praetor 500E continue to feature Embraer’s class-exclusive full fly-by-wire system with active turbulence reduction. This technology reduces pilot workload, enhances passenger comfort, and allows access to more challenging airports.
Both aircraft now include Embraer’s Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System, which provides additional situational awareness during landing operations.
Powered by two Honeywell HTF7500E engines, the jets deliver strong runway performance and operational flexibility. The Praetor 600E can operate from demanding airports such as Santa Monica and Ocean Reef.
With four passengers and NBAA IFR reserves:
- The Praetor 600E offers a range of 4,018 nautical miles or 7,441 kilometers, enabling nonstop routes such as London to New York and São Paulo to Miami.
- The Praetor 500E delivers a range of 3,340 nautical miles or 6,186 kilometers, supporting nonstop routes such as Miami to Seattle and Los Angeles to New York.
Both aircraft maintain a 5,800-foot cabin altitude and low cabin noise levels designed to improve passenger comfort on long missions.

Strengthening Embraer’s Executive Jet Portfolio
The introduction of the Praetor 600E and 500E reinforces Embraer’s position in the midsize and super-midsize segments. The company’s executive jet portfolio also includes the Phenom 100EX and the Phenom 300E, which have led the light jet market for 14 consecutive years.
With over five decades of aerospace expertise, Embraer continues to focus on performance, efficiency, and customer support across its global fleet.
