MONTREAL- Air Transat (TS) strategically introduces a non-stop flight connecting Montreal (YUL) and Valencia (VLC) for summer 2025.

Air Transat Montreal to Valencia Flight

A new weekly route to Valencia, Spain will operate from Montreal every Friday between June 20 and October 3, 2025. Passengers can access this destination through direct flights or convenient connections via Air Transat and Porter Airlines.
Sebastian Ponce, Transat’s Chief Revenue Officer, emphasized the route’s significance, highlighting the exclusive non-stop connection from the Americas.
At peak season, the airline will operate an impressive fleet, delivering 275 weekly non-stop flights across more than 40 destinations from Montreal, Toronto, and Quebec City.
By introducing the Valencia route, Air Transat (TS) demonstrates its strategic approach to route development, adding depth to its existing Spanish market presence alongside Barcelona, Madrid, and Malaga.
The introduction signals Air Transat’s continued growth and adaptability in the competitive international aviation landscape, presenting travelers with enhanced connectivity and destination choices.
Transatlantic Network Expansion for Summer 2025
Air Transat (TS) will offer 26 transatlantic destinations in the upcoming summer season, strategically enhancing its route network across Europe, Morocco, and Peru. The airline’s expansion targets key international markets with precision and strategic frequency increases.
Montreal routes will see additional weekly flights to Basel-Mulhouse, Switzerland, and London, England.
Quebec City will boost Paris connections to 5 weekly non-stop flights. Toronto travelers gain daily Amsterdam service through three new weekly frequencies.
The long-haul strategy extends to Lima, Peru, with an increased weekly frequency from Montreal. Marrakech, Morocco, remains a continued destination in the carrier’s international portfolio.
These network enhancements demonstrate Air Transat’s commitment to expanding international travel options and improving connectivity across multiple regions. The strategic route additions provide travelers with increased flexibility and more comprehensive travel choices.
Expands Southern and Florida Routes
Air Transat enhances its medium-haul network with 11 destinations targeting sun-seeking travelers. The strategic route optimization focuses on improving network efficiency and passenger choices.
Montreal routes gain weekly frequencies to Cancún, Mexico, and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Toronto sees increased flights to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Varadero, Cuba.
Florida remains a key market with continued service to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. The carrier responds to Orlando’s popularity by adding four weekly frequencies and introducing more flexible flight times.
The Porter Airlines (PD) joint venture enables passengers from approximately 20 Canadian cities to access Air Transat’s network seamlessly.
The airline maintains robust internal connectivity with two daily Montreal-Toronto flights and at least five weekly Montreal-Quebec City routes.
