PARIS- French Bee (BF) will inaugurate direct flights between Paris Orly Airport (ORY) and Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL), Canada, starting April 30th, 2025.
The long-haul low-cost carrier will operate four weekly flights, increasing to five during the peak summer season from July 5th to August 30th, 2025.
French Bee Paris to Montreal
Here’s the flight schedule for ORY-YUL as reported by Aeroroutes:
- Flight BF760 departs Paris Orly at 19:20, arriving in Montreal at 21:00.
- The return flight BF761 leaves Montreal at 23:00, landing in Paris at 12:00 the next day.
The service operates on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, adding Saturday flights during peak season.
The airline deploys its Airbus A350-900 aircraft on this route, configured with 411 seats. The configuration includes 35 premium class seats and 376 economy seats, offering a smaller capacity compared to the carrier’s A350-1000 aircraft which accommodates 480 passengers.
French Bee operates year-round services from Paris Orly to Miami, Newark, and San Francisco, and seasonal flights to Los Angeles. The carrier extends its San Francisco route to Papeete, French Polynesia, while also maintaining service to Saint-Denis de la Réunion, Simple Flying reported.
The airline, launched in September 2016 as French Blue, rebranded to French Bee in 2018. The carrier manages its operations from headquarters in Bellevigny while basing all six aircraft at Paris Orly Airport.
Competition by Established Carriers
The Montreal expansion builds upon French Bee’s established North American network, which focuses on major US coastal destinations.
Paris’s main airport, Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) serves as a major hub for Paris-Montreal flights, with Air France (AF) operating three daily services in June. Air Canada (AC) and Air Transat (TS) each maintain two daily flights on this route.
Current flight patterns show Air France’s market dominance with the highest frequency. Air Canada and Air Transat maintain competitive positions through their dual daily services.
