HONOLULU- Hawaiian Airlines (HA) will increase flights between Honolulu (HNL) and Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), and Seattle (SEA), West Coast cities for the upcoming holiday season.
This move responds to strong travel demand between Hawaii and the West Coast.
Hawaiian Airlines Increases West Coast Flights
Brent Overbeek, executive vice president and chief revenue officer, reports high interest in end-of-year travel. The airline adds a fourth daily Honolulu-Los Angeles flight, repeating a popular summer service option.

Additionally, we decided to once again offer a fourth Honolulu-Los Angeles, peak-day flight that was popular with our guests during our summer seasonal service.”
These routes will use Starlink-equipped Airbus A330 and A321neo aircraft. Passengers can expect Hawaiian’s signature hospitality, including:
- Dishes from the Featured Chef Series
- Signature drinks by Kō Hana Rum and Maui Brewing Co.
- Island snacks from the Pau Hana cart
- Free in-flight entertainment, including the Hana Hou! TV collection
Flight Schedule
In November, Hawaiian will introduce a second daily flight to Seattle and San Francisco. The Seattle route uses an A321neo aircraft, while the San Francisco route employs an A330.
Seattle flights operate on select dates from November 22 to December 2. The Honolulu to Seattle flight departs at 9:30 p.m., arriving at 5:15 a.m. the next day. The return flight leaves Seattle at 7 a.m., reaching Honolulu at 11:10 a.m.
Further San Francisco flights will run on similar dates. The Honolulu to San Francisco flight departs at 10 p.m., arriving at 5:05 a.m. The return flight leaves San Francisco at 7:05 a.m., landing in Honolulu at 10:45 a.m.
For December and January, Hawaiian Airlines will reinstate these Seattle and San Francisco flights, now using A321neo aircraft for both routes. The airline also plans to add a fourth daily Los Angeles-Honolulu flight using Airbus A330.
Subsequently, the Los Angeles route will be operated on select dates from December 19 to January 6. It departs Honolulu at 10:10 a.m., arriving in Los Angeles at 5:35 p.m. The return flight leaves at 7:15 p.m., reaching Honolulu at 11:15 p.m.
