Team leader Nayan Mukherjee reported no signs of ghostly presence/paranormal activities. However, at 2 AM, they heard strange noises behind the station. They found that a group of men hiding in bushes were causing it. The team attempted to catch them but failed. Mukherjee suspects these locals may be responsible for robbing tourists.
Purulia Superintendent of Police Joy Biswas has increased night patrols in the area. The police are also using public address systems to raise awareness about the situation.
