DELHI- Tata-owned Air India (AI) has finally scheduled its flagship Airbus A350 on long-haul route, which is Delhi-London from September 1, 2024.
According to the official update, the airline will replace the Boeing 777-300ER and 787 Dreamliners currently serving the sector.
Air India A350 on Delhi-London Route
Starting in September, Air India will deploy the A350-900 to London Heathrow (LHR), upgrading 90% of its flights to this major destination.
Since April 2024, Air India has been utilizing its newly inducted Boeing 777-300ERs with enhanced cabin interiors and upgraded inflight entertainment systems on all Mumbai (BOM)-London Heathrow routes.
This upgrade also reintroduces First Class service on the London Heathrow-Mumbai route, making Air India the only carrier to offer First Class travel between these two cities as well as between the United Kingdom (UK) and India.
The premium economy products are in high demands and Air India knows that well. Air India’s A350 features 24 premium economy seats which is a gamechanger. It come in a configuration of 2-4-2 and much more comfortable than economy seats as you get decent leg room.
Well, the economy class seats, which I tested myself are also better than 787s and 777s. This will help passenger get better experience and less complaint for airlines on social media.
Apart from this, passengers can get hands-on experience on new soft upgrades. Travelers can experience new chinaware, tableware, and glassware, as well as updated bedding. Business and Premium Economy guests will enjoy exclusive amenity kits designed by Ferragamo and TUMI, respectively, enhancing their travel experience.
