SINGAPORE- Changi-based Singapore Airlines (SQ) announced today its intentions to launch a non-stop flight from Changi International Airport (SIN) to Beijing Daxing Airport (PKX) starting November 11, 2024.
Daxing Airport is situated in southern part of the Beijing. The Airport serves Beijing, Hebei, and Tianjin regions, these areas are known for its rich and renowned world heritage sites.
Singapore Airlines Beijing Daxing Flights
The airline also serves Beijing Capital Int’l Airport (PEK) with 18 weekly flights. However, the number will reach 21X weekly as it plans to add three more flights. So, by November 2024, the Singapore will have 28 weekly flights to capital city of China.
With addition of this new destination, Singapore Airlines Group (SIA), which also includes Scoot (TR) will serve 24 destinations in Mainland China. Out of 24, the eight will be served by SIA and 17 by Scoot.
Singapore Airlines currently operates flights from Singapore to Beijing (Capital), Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Xiamen.
Flight Schedule
Now let’s get into the flight schedule and aircraft details. Singapore Airlines maiden flight SQ810 will depart from Singapore at 00:30 hrs and will arrive at Beijing Daxing at 06:35 hrs. All timings are local.
Subsequently, the return flight SQ811 will depart from Beijing Daxing at 09:25 hrs and land in SIN at 15:50 hrs.
51-year-old carrier will deploy 337-seater Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner which includes 301 economy seats and 36 Business class seats to serve the new sector.

Furthermore, the SIA starting August 5, 2024, will be convert two 4x weekly flights to Beijing Capital to Daily. It will serve the route with Airbus A350-900, Boeing 777-300ER and 787-10.
