Pune Airport New Terminal
The recently constructed terminal building, which was completed at a cost of Rs 475 crore, aims to enhance the overall passenger experience beyond just lounges. It includes the addition of food and beverage outlets as well as retail shops in the general vicinity.
“We’re introducing approximately 12-15 new food outlets covering a combined area of 831.1 square meters. Additionally, there will be 12-15 retail outlets available for passengers to browse while awaiting boarding,” stated Dhoke.
He mentioned that these outlets are currently under construction and are expected to be operational within two weeks. “We’ve encouraged vendors to bring in international brands,” Dhoke added.
However, when can Pune passengers expect to start using the new terminal building?
“The only thing pending is approval from the regulatory authority. Once we receive it, operations will commence immediately. We anticipate this to occur by the end of the month,” Dhoke concluded.
