LOS ANGELES- Today, Avelo Airlines (XP) announced its upcoming launch of nonstop service from Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) to Las Vegas (LAS), one of Los Angeles‘ most frequented airports.
This addition marks Avelo’s 14th destination from BUR, providing travelers from L.A. with a convenient, cost-effective, and dependable option for reaching the Entertainment Capital of the World.
Avelo Los Angeles to Las Vegas
The new route will commence operations on Fridays and Sundays starting from May 3, utilizing Boeing Next Generation (NG) 737 aircraft. Introductory one-way fares between BUR and Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) will start at $57*.
Andrew Levy, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Avelo Airlines, expressed excitement about the airline’s upcoming milestone as it approaches the third anniversary of its inaugural flight from BUR.
He highlighted their enthusiasm for making Las Vegas the 14th most popular destination accessible from L.A.’s renowned airport.
Levy also noted the positive response received from customers during special flights between BUR and LAS for a major football event in February, indicating their eagerness to provide travelers with Avelo’s consistent affordability, convenience, and reliability between these dynamic cities.
Frank Miller, Executive Director of Hollywood Burbank Airport, emphasized the existing ease of flying from BUR to Las Vegas and expressed satisfaction with Avelo Airlines’ initiative to enhance travel convenience for passengers further.
Avelo commenced operations on April 28, 2021, with scheduled commercial service from its primary base at BUR. Since then, the airline has served 1.1 million customers from BUR through over 9,000 flights.
