DOHA- Flag carrier Qatar Airways (QR) Doha (DOH) to Tokyo Narita (NRT) flight made an unexpected visit to Kolkata Airport (CCU) following a medical emergency.
This is the first time that the Airbus A350-1000 aircraft has made a landing at Kolkata Airport.

X user first reported the incident and shared the information on the micro-blogging platform.
According to Flight Radar 24 data, the Qatar Airways flight QR806 took off from Doha International Airport (DOH) at 11:45 PM UTC. After being airborne for approximately four hours, the flight crew reported medical issues.
Following this, it landed at Kolkata at around 4:15 Am UTC.
After being on the ground for approximately two hours, the flight took at 6:10 AM UTC and landed at 11:42 AM UTC at NRT.
Such an occurrence should not happen, but it is an opportunity for aviation enthusiasts and avgeeks to spot the aircraft. Today was special as this was the first and most historic instance.
Qatar Airways deployed the Airbus A350-1000, which is registered as A7-ANO and is a 4-year-old.
