BHOPAL- Flight connectivity between Bangalore (BLR) and Bhopal (BHO) is poised for a substantial enhancement with the introduction of daily morning and evening flights connecting the two cities.
Currently, there is only one flight from Bangalore daily in the morning and another in the evening, operating three days a week.
IndiGo Air India Bhopal Flights
Additionally, the flight service between Pune (PNQ) and Bhopal, previously suspended, is set to resume operations. IndiGo (6E) and Air India (AI) will also augment their services with one additional flight each for Delhi (DEL).
These adjustments will result in an overall increase in the number of flights operating from Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport during the upcoming summer schedule, commencing at the end of March.
The new evening flight from Bangalore to Bhopal will now operate four days a week, supplementing the existing daily morning flight and the evening flight available three days a week.
Consequently, flights between Bhopal and Bangalore will be accessible both in the morning and evening. Air India is set to resume morning flights from Delhi to Pune via Bhopal.
Boosting Connectivity to Delhi and Ayodhya
Additionally, IndiGo and Air India are introducing an extra flight each for Delhi, bringing the total number of flights to the national capital to 7.
Furthermore, there is a possibility that Indigo may initiate a connecting flight to Ayodhya via Lucknow or Delhi, responding to substantial demand for flights between Bhopal and Ayodhya.
Travel agents indicate high flight demand to other popular destinations such as Vaishno Devi, Shirdi, Tirupati, and Trimbakeshwar.
Regarding the upcoming summer schedule, Airport Director Ramji Awasthi mentioned that Indigo plans to add one more flight to Bangalore. Simultaneously, Air India is slated to reinstate the Bhopal-Pune flight that had been temporarily halted.
