American Airlines’ New York-Tokyo Haneda Flights
Yesterday (Feb 22, 2024), American Airlines (AA) announced the launch of flights from New York JFK to Tokyo Haneda, becoming the only U.S. carrier to serve this route.
Commencing on June 28, American’s upcoming service will complement the existing flights in collaboration with its joint business partner, Japan Airlines.
During this summer, travelers journeying between JFK and HND will have the flexibility of choosing from up to three daily flights strategically scheduled at convenient times throughout the day.
American’s newly introduced daily flight not only facilitates roundtrip connections but extends access to over 30 cities across Japan and East Asia, all operated by Japan Airlines (JL). This includes key urban centers such as Osaka, Sapporo, and Fukuoka.
The addition of the JFK–HND route marks American’s fourth daily nonstop flight to HND, augmenting the current daily service from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and the two daily flights from Los Angeles (LAX).
