CHICAGO- United Airlines (UA) has updated its flight schedule this week and added new routes from its hubs to various domestic destinations with its narrowbody aircraft fleet.
The Chicago-based carrier operates flights to around 240 domestic destinations as of January 2024.
United Airlines New Routes
As flagged by Ishrion Aviation, United Airlines introduces new flight routes:
- Denver (DEN) to Myrtle Beach (MYR)
- Chicago (ORD) to Nantucket (ACK)
- Chicago (ORD) to Great Falls (GTF)
- Chicago (ORD) to Wilmington, NC (ILM)
- Houston (IAH) to Traverse City (TVC)
The DEN-MYR route will utilize the Airbus A319 aircraft, while the remaining routes will be serviced by the Embraer E175 aircraft.
Now, Here are the new flights from Washington DC.
- Washington DC (IAD) to Harrisburg (MDT)
- Washington DC (IAD) to State College (SCE)
- Washington DC (IAD) to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AVP)
- Washington DC (IAD) to Philadelphia (PHL)
However, United will discontinue the Newark (EWR) to MDT/SCE/AVP/PHL routes.
100+ Summer Flights
United Airlines has announced a significant expansion of its summer flight offerings, introducing over 100 new flights to various cities in the United States and Canada.
This expansion aims to facilitate easier connections for travelers to access some of North America’s most picturesque destinations, including Anchorage and Fairbanks in Alaska, as well as Canadian cities such as Calgary, Vancouver, and Halifax.
United Airlines maintains its status as the largest U.S. carrier to Canada this summer, offering over 150 daily flights connecting the two countries. These flights serve nine destinations in Canada, accessible from all seven of United’s U.S. hub airports.
Following the expansion of the partnership between United and Air Canada (AC) in 2022, United has experienced a remarkable growth of over 70% in the Canadian market. A shared objective drives this growth to enhance accessibility between the United States and Canada.
United customers now have the convenience of connecting to an additional 25 Canadian cities through Air Canada, all while enjoying the benefits offered by the carriers’ MileagePlus® and Aeroplan loyalty programs.
