MALTA- Ryanair (FR), the leading airline in Malta, unveiled its most extensive Summer 2024 (S24) schedule on February 7th.
The schedule includes the introduction of three new routes connecting Malta to Belfast, Norwich, and Rome. With a total of 67 routes, the airline is also set to boost frequencies on 20 existing routes to and from Valletta.
Ryanair New Routes from Malta
Ryanair is introducing three new routes (Belfast, Norwich, and Rome) for a total of 67 routes, accompanied by the addition of one new aircraft (7 in total) and a substantial $700 million investment.
The airline anticipates a 22% increase in traffic, reaching 4.5 million passengers annually. This expansion is crucial in sustaining 4,000 local jobs, including over 550 positions for pilots, cabin crew, and engineers within the Ryanair team.
The commitment to growth and investment in Malta is evident through the significant financial backing and the presence of seven based aircraft, including three Boeing 737 Gamechangers.
To mark the occasion, Ryanair is offering a special 3-day seat sale with fares starting from just €24.99, exclusively available for booking on ryanair.com.
