GMR Aviation School Gets EASA Approval
It is poised to establish new standards, elevating the quality of aviation education worldwide. The school, accredited by EASA, is authorized to provide training in B1 (Mechanical) and B2 (Avionics) categories, as well as the combined “B1+B2” category.
Graduates from this institution will be equipped for the future and easily employable in the aviation industry globally.
This pioneering school is set to revolutionize the landscape for students worldwide who aspire to build successful careers in the aviation industry. Additionally, it will be pivotal in advancing India as a premier global destination for aviation education.
Encompassing a 4-acre campus and spanning 75,000 square feet, this school is poised to establish a new standard in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) training within India.
It aims to achieve this by providing specialized Aircraft Specific Type Training Courses, both domestic and international degree programs, and supplementary courses covering areas such as Aircraft Structures, Aircraft Composite Courses, CAMO/Maintenance Planning courses, and Stores Management Courses.
In the year 2028, the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry is anticipated to experience substantial growth, projected to surpass $2.4 billion, compared to $800 million in 2018.
The government’s objective is to position India as a ‘Global MRO Hub,’ consequently generating a significant demand for skilled aircraft maintenance engineering professionals in the country.
In response to this demand, the GMR School for Aviation, in collaboration with Airbus, has introduced global training solutions for aviation professionals, adhering to the highest industry standards.
The primary aim is to cultivate a skilled and qualified workforce that is not only well-trained but also motivated to effectively address future challenges within the aviation industry in the region.
