TOULOUSE- Japan Airlines (JL) has received its inaugural A350-1000 from Airbus’ delivery center in Toulouse, France. The A350-1000 is slated to become the airline’s new flagship aircraft, debuting on the prestigious Tokyo Haneda to New York JFK route.
Configured with four classes, JAL’s A350 promises a luxurious travel experience. The First Class boasts six Suites, each offering three modes: sofa, seat, and the option of a single or double bed. The Business Class also provides Suites featuring 54 seats equipped with privacy doors. The Premium Economy Class (24 seats) and Economy Class (155 seats) offer enhanced personal space and comfort within their respective categories.

JAL has placed an order for a total of 31 A350 aircraft, consisting of 18 A350-900s and 13 A350-1000s. The airline has already been deploying the A350-900 on high-density domestic routes in Japan since 2019.
