The new A350-1000 aircraft features revamped cabin interiors, providing passengers with a comfortable and relaxing space. This environmentally friendly aircraft boasts enhanced fuel efficiency and reduced noise compared to its predecessors.
The utilization of this latest fuel-efficient equipment is expected to result in a 15-25% reduction in CO2 emissions. Furthermore, as the A350-1000 fleet expands, JAL aims to replace 1% of the onboard fuel with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) on Japan-bound flights, contributing to further CO2 emission reductions and environmental sustainability.
In an effort to elevate customer satisfaction and work towards a sustainable future, Japan Airlines is phasing out its Boeing 777-300ER fleet in favor of the new A350-1000 international aircraft, combining comfort with advanced environmental performance.
The airline has a total of 13 A350-1000s on order and remains committed to transitioning to more advanced and eco-friendly aircraft.
