MINNEAPOLIS- Sun Country Airlines (SY) is set to introduce new nonstop routes to Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) in June 2024, pending final approval.
Sun Country has also extended its booking schedule, allowing customers to plan travel until September 10, 2024.

Sun Country Airlines New Destinations
In addition to the routes to Montréal and Toronto, the schedule extension encompasses eight new seasonal domestic nonstop routes departing from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to the following destinations:
- Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ), New Mexico
- Billings Logan International Airport (BIL), Montana
- Boise Airport (BOI), Idaho
- Dulles International Airport (IAD), Virginia/Washington, D.C.
- Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR), Grand Rapids, Michigan
- Missoula Montana Airport (MSO), Montana
- Oakland International Airport (OAK), California
- Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR), New York
Resuming service to Washington D.C. (IAD) commencing on April 18, after a hiatus of several years.
Service to these new destinations will typically be offered twice a week, with Dulles serviced four times weekly. This expansion means that Sun Country will provide nonstop connections from MSP to a total of 98 distinct markets in 2024.

“Over the last five years, we have more than doubled our nonstop destinations for MSP travelers, and we’re excited to introduce these unique new routes covering the continent from Quebec to New Mexico.”
Sun Country will continue offering its seasonal service to cities introduced in the summer of 2023. Starting in spring 2024, flights to Houston will operate from William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) rather than George Bush Intercontinental/Houston Airport (IAH).
With this announcement, Sun Country Airlines will operate 120 routes serving 104 airports across the United States, Mexico, Central America, Canada, and the Caribbean.
