ATHENS- Emirates (EK) and AEGEAN (A3) have jointly announced an expansion of their codeshare agreement, with the addition of the Athens-New York (Newark) route.
This development marks the one-year anniversary of their successful partnership, which has already benefitted over 16,800 passengers.

Emirates AEGEAN New York-Athens Route
Passengers flying with Emirates now have the option to include a stopover in Athens and then enjoy the convenience of connecting to various Greek and European destinations through AEGEAN.
Likewise, AEGEAN travelers gain access to Emirates’ flights connecting Athens to Dubai and flights between Athens and Newark.
The Emirates and AEGEAN codeshare partnership was inaugurated in August 2022, providing travelers with a seamless booking experience that links Emirates’ extensive network to eight domestic destinations in Greece via Athens, all under a single ticket and a unified baggage policy.
Additionally, AEGEAN placed its codes on Emirates-operated flights between Dubai and Athens, enabling customers to enjoy seamless travel between these key hubs.
Through this collaborative agreement, AEGEAN offers flights to 17 domestic destinations and an additional 53 regional European and Middle Eastern points from its Athens hub.
Meanwhile, customers can tap into Emirates’ global network spanning over 140 destinations across six continents, accessible from its Dubai hub. Together, the combined network of both airlines will encompass an impressive total of 200 destinations worldwide.
