Using these passenger reviews, the study ranked individual airports and locations to determine which garnered the highest proportions of positive feedback regarding wait times.
Interestingly, all of the top-performing airports in North America, as perceived by passengers in terms of wait times, are situated within the United States. In contrast, the airports receiving lower ratings for wait times are scattered across different countries within the continent.

With a commendable score of 8.06/10, the Southwest Florida International Airport is certainly well-regarded. It is situated in the South Fort Myers region and enjoys a high Google review rating of 4.5/5.
Despite not being the largest airport in Florida, it is the second-busiest single-runway airport in the United States, as per Travel Lens.

The lowest-rated airport in North America in terms of wait times is Sangster International Airport, situated in Jamaica. Sangster International Airport is located three miles to the east of Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The airport provides services to 45 destinations and hosts operations of 25 airlines. In 2022 the airport reported handling 4.4 million passengers, as stated on its official website.
According to the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority, Sangster International Airport is the largest among Jamaica’s three international airports, and it serves as the primary airport for 72% of the country’s visitors. The airport is undergoing a significant expansion, including a $34 million runway upgrade.
Shane Munroe, Chief Executive Officer of MBJ (the entity that operates the airport), noted in the Jamaica Sun that the extension of the airport’s facilities would attract more passengers from a wider array of locations, as it would allow the airport to accommodate larger aircraft.
