SPAIN, UK, QATAR- Qatar Airways (QR), British Airways (BA), and Iberia (IB) have joined forces to create a formidable alliance to revolutionize travelers’ connectivity worldwide.
With Qatar Airways and British Airways already operating the world’s largest airline joint business across 60 countries, Iberia’s addition to the partnership further enhances its capabilities.

Iberia Join Hands with British and Qatar Airways
Starting in July, Iberia will introduce a daily service from Madrid Barajas International Airport to Hamad International Airport, connecting passengers to over 200 destinations through the three airlines.
The expanded service, comprising three daily flights, will significantly improve connectivity between the Iberian Peninsula and key markets in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
Iberia’s Airbus A330-200, offering 288 seats in Business and Economy cabins, will facilitate this improved connectivity.
Customers will now have more choices than ever before, ranging from various destinations, flight schedules, and fares to seamless connectivity via Doha, London, and Madrid.
Additionally, travelers can take advantage of a broader selection of award-winning products, including Qatar Airways’ Qsuite, Iberia’s Business Class, and British Airways’ Club Suite.

Enhanced Travel Opportunities
Spanish and Portuguese travelers can now explore a vast array of new destinations, whether for leisure or business.
From the serene beaches of the Maldives and Seychelles to adventurous escapades in Tanzania and Nepal, cultural experiences in India and Oman, shopping extravaganzas in Singapore and Thailand, or reconnecting with loved ones in Australia and Hong Kong – all these options become easily accessible.
Moreover, customers from the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Australia can now enjoy seamless travel to several Spanish and Portuguese destinations such as Madrid, Lisbon, Ibiza, Malaga, and Gran Canaria.
A groundbreaking development, British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus, and Qatar Airways Privilege Club members can now collect and spend using their common currency, Avios.
Loyalty members can conveniently transfer Avios between accounts and combine their balances to claim rewards offered by each program.
