The New Terminal One (NTO), consisting of labor, operating, and financial partners responsible for constructing the state-of-the-art terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), has officially announced a new collaboration with Korean Air.

JFK Announces Partnership with Korean Air
Through this partnership, Korean Air will enhance its passengers’ premium travel experience within the terminal, aligning with its award-winning in-flight service.
While Korean Air presently operates at the existing Terminal 1, it will seamlessly transition to the New Terminal One once construction is complete and the terminal becomes operational.

Strategic Partnership between JFK and Korean Air

The New Terminal One (NTO) at John F. Kennedy International Airport is an ambitious and thrilling project aimed at creating a world-class international terminal.
It will serve as a cornerstone terminal in the Port Authority’s extensive $19 billion revitalization plan for JFK. Further transforming it into a premier global gateway to the New York metropolitan area and the entire United States.

The construction of The New Terminal One will take place on the current sites occupied by Terminal 1. The recently closed Terminal 2 and the former Terminal 3.
It will serve as the anchor terminal on JFK’s south side and will be implemented in multiple phases. The first phase is scheduled for completion in 2026. Further, it will feature new arrivals, departures halls, and the initial set of 14 new gates.
Upon its anticipated completion in 2030, The New Terminal One will encompass an impressive 2.4 million square feet. Consequently, it is the largest terminal at JFK and nearly equivalent to the combined two new terminals at LaGuardia Airport.
