In an effort to capitalize on increased airline demand as the COVID-19 pandemic is being treated, lessor Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has made an order for 12 737 Boeing MAX aircraft.

The order is for the 737-8 model of the MAX, Boeing announced at the Farnborough Airshow on July 19, 2022.
The purchase, which follows one for nine 737-8s in May 2022, increases ACG’s 737 MAX order book to 34 aircraft.
“This latest incremental 737 MAX order allows ACG to deliver highly fuel-efficient aeroplanes to our airline customers around the world.”
Mahoko Hara, the executive chair of ACG, said
These extra 737 MAX aircraft will help ACG prepare its order book for a resurgence in air travel following the epidemic, according to the company.

“ACG is well-positioned to meet rising airline demand by topping off with additional 737-8s. We look forward to future chances to deepen our connection with ACG and their clients.”
Boeing’s senior vice president of commercial sales and marketing, Ihssane Mounir, said
