India will require 2210 new aircraft over the next two decades, thanks to a booming aviation business, according to a top Airbus executive.
According to Airbus’s Head of Airline Marketing India and South Asia, Brent McBratney, the fleet might include 1770 new small planes and 440 medium and large planes.
He also stated that by 2040, India will require 34,000 additional pilots and 45,000 technicians.
According to him, passenger traffic in India is predicted to expand at a rate of 6.2 percent over the next two decades.
