DUBAI- Check-in at Dubai International Airport’s (DXB) Terminal 2 started up again after a short pause. A small fire broke out on Saturday night, but airport firefighters quickly put it out.
The airport team worked fast to fix the problem and get things moving again. They haven’t said what caused the fire or if anything was damaged.

The airport got back to normal in just a few hours. This happened during a busy time when lots of people were traveling through Dubai. The airport is an important stop for many international flights.

They said sorry for any problems the fire caused and thanked everyone for being patient while they sorted things out.
It was a minor fire and the airport said that no one was injured.
Well, this is not the first time such an incident has happened. Last Year, Kolkata Airport reported fire broke out at the Departure area.

A police segway unexpectedly caught fire at Dulles International Airport in August 2023, forcing a 90-minute evacuation. The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. in a departure terminal. Smoke filled the airport when the segway started smoking and ignited. Two officers got hurt during the event. Airport fire and rescue teams quickly responded to control the fire.
They worked to clear smoke from different parts of the terminal. Officials evacuated everyone from the main terminal’s departure levels. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) reported the incident but couldn’t explain why the segway caught fire.
