ValueJet, a brand-new airline in Nigeria, intends to launch its operations on October 10, 2022, with a daring marketing strategy.
The airline announced on social media that anyone who buys a round-trip ticket between October 4 and October 9 will receive their first journey for free.
According to the airline’s website, this option is only available to travellers who reserve a ticket for travel between October 10, 2022, and November 9, 2022.
“Our objective is to revolutionise air travel with our unique value offer of safety, comfort, convenience, experience, and good value for money.”
ValueJet’s chairman, Adekunle Soname
From its alleged hub in Lagos, ValueJet intends to start operating domestic round-trip flights within Nigeria to Abuja, Asaba, and Port Harcourt.
ValueJet was established in 2018
As a commercial and charter service provider, ValueJet was first established in 2018 with the goal of developing into a “global airline” that “connects people and places through modern air travel.”
On September 21, 2022, the airline satisfied the requirements of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), and was granted an Air Operators Certificate by Director General of the NCAA, Captain Musa Shuaibu Nuhu.
A three-aircraft fleet exclusively made up of Bombardier CRJ 900s will support ValueJet’s domestic services. Early in September 2022, the airline received delivery of its most recent CRJ 900, with the registration 5N-BXR.
