While the program experienced some delays due to various technical challenges, the GE9X successfully obtained <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/faa\/\">FAA <\/a>type certification these orders specify the larger 777-9 variant, with approximately 440 orders, while the shorter 777-8 has attracted over 40 orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Major customers include <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/emirates\/\">Emirates (EK)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/qatar-airways\/\">Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a>, with launch
