Qantas (QF)<\/a> is the flag carrier of Australia as well as the largest air operator in the country based on fleet size, passengers flown yearly, and international destinations. Qantas Cabin Crew Salary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Australia’s aviation industry<\/a> is one of the world’s highest-paying, and the case is no different with Qantas and its cabin crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, 750 crew members hired via labour hire companies also received increments up to AU$20,000 per year (approx. US$13,000)<\/strong> on their salaries. QF’s crew are also paid better salaries than their counterparts with low-cost arm Jetstar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on the type of aircraft operated on, experience, and seniority within the airline, cabin crew with Qantas earn an annual salary between AU$45,000<\/strong> and AU$90,000 (approx. US$30,000 to US$60,000)<\/strong>. Those who are cabin leads, pursers, and work exclusively in first and business class are paid over AU$75,000 per year for an average of 80 flying hours each month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to their basic salaries, Qantas cabin crew are also entitled to allowances for meals, transportation, and layovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
