NEWCASTLE- <\/strong>In a major development for UK regional aviation, British low-cost carrier easyJet (U2)<\/a> has announced a bunch of new routes from the new base at Newcastle Airport (NCL).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the start of the Summer 2026 (S26)<\/strong> season, the airline will launch a wave of new international routes. This will boost connectivity from Newcastle to popular holiday and city break destinations across Europe and North Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, easyJet continues to grow its UK footprint. The airline is adding capacity outside its traditional strong bases like Gatwick, Luton, and Manchester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newcastle has seen increasing demand in recent years. While easyJet has served Newcastle in the past with seasonal and limited-frequency routes, the decision to place aircraft and crew at NCL marks a new chapter for the airline in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
