MONTREAL-<\/strong> Air Canada (AC)<\/a> has launched a new nonstop flight between Montreal (YUL) and Porto (OPO), expanding its reach in Southern Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new seasonal route marks Air Canada\u2019s second destination in Portugal, enhancing connectivity between North America and Porto (OPO), a UNESCO World Heritage city in northern Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada New Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Air Canada (AC) first flight on the new route, AC928, departed Montreal (YUL)<\/a> on June 4 at 21:50 and arrived in Porto (OPO)<\/a> the following morning at 09:20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operated by Air Canada\u2019s Airbus A330-300<\/a>, this route provides three classes of service, Economy, Premium Economy, and Air Canada Signature Class, offering enhanced comfort, lie-flat seats, and premium amenities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new route complements Air Canada\u2019s existing Lisbon flights from both Montreal (YUL) and Toronto (YYZ), establishing Porto (OPO) as its second Portuguese gateway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline\u2019s strategic expansion aligns with demand for leisure and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) travel between Canada and Southern Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada\u2019s Montreal\u2013Porto flights will run seasonally until August 28, 2025. Outbound flights (AC928) operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, while inbound flights (AC929) depart Porto on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
