(DCA). That partnership&#8217;s overwhelming reception underscored passengers\u2019 desire for gourmet meals rooted in West Coast culinary heritage. Building on that momentum, Alaska has expanded the initiative into a rotating seasonal series featuring celebrated chefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chef Brady Ishiwata Williams now leads the program\u2019s next phase. (DCA), as well as return routes. Menus vary by time of departure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Departures 5:00 a.m. \u2013 9:59 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mochi Waffle &amp; Fried Chicken:<\/strong> A rice flour bubble waffle paired with tempura-style fried chicken, served alongside apple miso butter and tamari-maple syrup.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Departures 10:00 a.m. \u2013 11:59 p.m. (Outbound to East Coast):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Klingemann Farms Glazed Short Rib:<\/strong> Central Washington short rib glazed with serrano jaew sauce, paired with stir-fried rice cakes, hon-shimeji mushrooms, spinach, and baby bok choy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Departures 10:00 a.m. \u2013 10:59 p.m. (Inbound to SEA):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Buckwheat Soba with Ahi-Tuna Tataki:<\/strong> Chilled soba noodles in ponzu broth topped with tofu, cucumber, edamame, and pickled seaweed. Served with seared ahi-tuna and chili crisp.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While First Class guests enjoy gourmet chef-curated meals, Alaska Airlines continues to offer premium dining throughout its cabins. For Main Cabin travelers, the airline recently launched \u201cThe Best Laid Plants,\u201d a 100% plant-based and gluten-free grain bowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed in collaboration with Seattle\u2019s Evergreens\u2122, it includes Chimichurri Tofu, avocado, quinoa, and a mango habanero dressing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These meal enhancements are driven by Alaska\u2019s industry-leading pre-order system.
