LONDON-<\/strong> An easyJet (U2)<\/a> flight from Alicante (ALC)<\/strong> to Manchester (MAN)<\/strong> was forced to make an emergency landing at London Gatwick Airport (LGW)<\/strong> on Sunday morning (May 25, 2025) due to a medical situation onboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight, operating as EZY5521<\/strong>, declared an emergency while flying over the southern UK coast and landed safely at Gatwick around 8:30 a.m., where it was met by emergency medical personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

easyJet Flight Emergency Landing at Gatwick<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

easyJet confirmed the diversion was caused by a passenger requiring urgent medical attention. The crew followed standard emergency procedures<\/a>, prioritizing the health of the affected individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
