HONG KONG-<\/strong> Cathay Pacific (CX)<\/a> resumes non-stop flights from Hong Kong (HKG) to Adelaide (ADL) starting 11 November 2025, enhancing its Southwest Pacific network. The flights will operate to Adelaide three times a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service, operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft, offers business, premium economy, and economy cabins, boosting connectivity for passengers and cargo between Hong Kong and Adelaide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cathay Pacific Restarts Adelaide Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cathay Pacific\u2019s decision to resume its non-stop winter flights to Adelaide<\/a> signals a strategic step in reinforcing its regional presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from Hong Kong, and returning on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, enhances travel access during the winter season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This return reconnects a route initially launched in 1992 and continues a historic link between Cathay Pacific and South Australia, including a 30-year collaboration with Flight Training Adelaide, where many of the airline\u2019s cadet pilots have trained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this addition, Cathay Pacific will operate close to 90 return flights weekly to and from the Southwest Pacific at peak season, reinforcing its role as a key carrier for both outbound and inbound travel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cathay Pacific and its subsidiary HK Express (UO)<\/a> are collectively adding 16 new destinations to their global network in 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adelaide joins recent additions like Hyderabad (HYD)<\/a>, Dallas (DFW), and Urumqi (URC), with upcoming launches planned for Rome (FCO), Munich (MUC), and Brussels (BRU)<\/a> later in the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
