This is an 18% increase from the previous year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emirates (EK) contributed AED 21.2 billion (US$ 5.8 billion). This made it the <strong>&#8220;world\u2019s most profitable airline&#8221;<\/strong>, while dnata added AED 1.6 billion (US$ 430 million). Total revenue reached AED 145.4 billion (US$ 39.6 billion), <strong>up 6%, with a record cash balance of AED 53.4 billion (US$ 14.6 billion).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>&nbsp;\u201cIt is no accident that&nbsp;Dubai has produced hugely successful global aviation entities, including Emirates and dnata. It reflects strong operational efficiency despite a 9% UAE corporate tax reduction, after-tax profit of AED 20.5 billion (US$ 5.6 billion). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emirates (EK) carried 53.7 million passengers, up 3%, and expanded capacity by 4% to 60.0 billion ATKMs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>dnata\u2019s revenue grew 10% to AED 21.1 billion, driven by global airport operations and catering. It is restarting flights to <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/emirates-phnom-penh-flight\/\">Phnom Penh (PNH)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/lagos-airport\/\">Lagos (LOS)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/adelaide-flights\/\">Adelaide (ADL)<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/edinburgh-airport\/\">Edinburgh (EDI)<\/a>. The airline is also boosting services to 21 other cities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By March 31, 2025, the airline will serve <strong>148 cities across 80 countries with a fleet of 260 aircraft<\/strong>. The 4 new Airbus A350s are operating to Edinburgh (EDI), <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/ahmedabad\/\">Ahmedabad (AMD)<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/mumbai-airport\/\">Mumbai (BOM)<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Emirates (EK) also expanded its retrofit program to 219 aircraft, investing US$ 5.0 billion for cabin upgrades.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite currency fluctuations costing AED 718 million (US$ 196 million), Emirates (EK) achieved a record operating cash flow of AED 40.8 billion (US$ 11.1 billion). <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/emirates-skycargo\/\">Emirates SkyCargo<\/a> carried 2.3 million tonnes of goods, up 7%, with revenue of AED 16.1 billion (US$ 4.4 billion). Airport operations, handling 794,091 aircraft turns (up 2%) and 3.1 million tonnes of cargo (up 9%), generated AED 9.9 billion (US$ 2.7 billion). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>dnata acquired <strong>full ownership<\/strong> of Airport Handling at <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/rome-airport\/\">Rome Fiumicino (FCO)<\/a> and expanded to <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/raleigh-durham-international-airport\/\">Raleigh-Durham (RDU)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Catering and retail revenue rose 10% to AED 7.1 billion (US$ 1.9 billion), uplifting 114.0 million meals.
