DOHA-<\/strong> Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a> announced an expansion of its North and South American services with increased flight frequencies to Toronto (YYZ), Canada, and S\u00e3o Paulo (GRU), Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier will boost Toronto (YYZ)<\/a> service to 5 weekly flights<\/strong> starting June 19, 2025<\/strong>, and expand S\u00e3o Paulo (GRU) operations to 17 weekly flights from June 25, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways (QR) will increase service to Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ)<\/strong> just 6 months after launching the route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline cited robust demand as the driving factor behind the expansion. The 5 weekly flights, operating every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, will commence on June 19, 2025, with plans to transition to daily service in winter 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We launched our services to Toronto Pearson Airport less than six months ago and have witnessed strong market response,” said Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer Thierry Antinori.<\/strong> “This expansion addresses growing demand for our award-winning travel experience.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
